Bill O’Reilly Talking Points 6/3/2014.

Part of transcript from “More trouble for the Obama Administration because of the Taliban negotiation”

I found this part of “Talking Points” very disturbing and Mr. O’Reilly is absolutely correct in his analysis.

Bill%20OReilly%20ssSo last night I talked with someone who knows the inside story of the Obama White House. I have to keep the person’s identity secret but he told me that the President has come to the conclusion that his administration is not, not going to accomplish its goals.

He knows the economy is not going to turn around. He no knows Obamacare is not going to be popular. And he understands that his job approval rating will likely remain below 50 percent. Therefore, according to this guy, the President has concluded that public opinion really doesn’t matter anymore. Thus, Mr. Obama is going to do what he wants to do and the consequences be damned. I believe that assessment is accurate.

Just think about it. Why would you swap one alleged deserter because surely President Obama knows the guy left his unit voluntarily for five, five notorious war criminals? Why would anyone do that it simply doesn’t make sense because these Taliban guys will continue killing people. The war on terror remains in progress and thousands of people are dying all over the world even ardent pro-Obama supporters have got to be confused.

One final thing President Obama knows that at least half, half of the American public is totally disengaged from political reality. They don’t know anything. And they don’t care to know. Many live in a high tech bubble, lost in cyberspace. Caught up in their own selfish pursuits. Therefore, he knows the President does, that he can razzle-dazzle, make speeches and survive. That’s a big change in this country when you have half of the folks not caring a whit about what our leadership does. Apathy breeds corruption and incompetence, does it not?

Bottom line: The President no longer gives a shit about what he is doing and he hopes (and maybe prays) that there are enough low information voters whom are happy being in their own worlds of Game of Thrones, Dancing with the Stars and Grand Theft Auto 26 that whatever he does going forward won’t hurt the democratic vote in 2014 and 2016.

And unfortunately President Obama is probably right about that assessment…

Bill O’Reilly’s Killing Kennedy

thI picked up from my local library the audio book of “Killing Kennedy”.  All 7 of the CDs are awesome; O’Reilly’s reading style made me take longer routes on the way home from work to hear what was next.

A couple of things I learned.

J. Edgar Hoover was the ultimate manipulator for his time.  He had the goods on the Kennedys, Frank Sinatra, the Mob and people not born yet.  He would have information on let’s say Frank Sinatra and his mob connections.  Hoover then STRONGLY recommended to JFK that he cut off all ties with him.  JFK hesitated and J. Edgar informed him that he had a boatload of information on prostitutes running through the White House and if he didn’t cut ‘ol Blue Eyes, it might be leaked to the press.  Bobby Kennedy then calls Peter Lawford to tell Sinatra.  Lawford tells Sinatra and upon hearing the news cuts off Lawford from the Rat Pack.  JFK has his California trip at Bing Crosby’s and has two nights with Marilyn Monroe.  Hoover gets the information on the Kennedy – Monroe liaison and probably kept it in the “Short Hairs of the Kennedys” files in case it might be needed in the future.

JFK was dedicated to Jackie in the last 6 months of his life.  When JFK first got in office in 1961, he’d have loose women run in and out of the White House.  Jackie Kennedy felt this was part of being a male Kennedy.  She and the kids would go to Virginia on Thursday night and come back early Monday morning.  JFK, RFK and everybody with a last initial “K” would have the girls over for three nights and then clean it all up on Sunday night.   Jackie and JFK slept in separate beds as well.

In the last months of JFK’s life, Jackie was pregnant with a child.  JFK suddenly saw the true beauty of Jackie and became dedicated and loyal to her.  No more naked girls in the WH Thursday – Sunday.  Jackie lost the baby and at the same time JFK fell in love with her.  Cool.

Had JFK run in 1964, it probably would have been a JFK/RFK ticket.  Lyndon Johnson was eccentric, power hungry and just an overall nasty guy.  RFK couldn’t stand him.  In Cabinet meetings he would embarrass LBJ and LBJ would sulk.  In the end JFK couldn’t stand him or the votes he brought in from TX.

JFK became a much better President as he went along.  The Bay of Pigs was a disaster but he showed his Iron Will in making Khrushchev blink first during the October Missile crisis of 1962.  JFK also favored tax cuts for the wealthy because, IT WOULD HELP THE ECONOMY AND GET MORE PEOPLE BACK TO WORK!!!  The present occupant of the White House has no idea of this concept; nor much of anything else for that matter.

Excellent Audio Book Bill, I will definitely check out “Killing Lincoln”.

Not that gives a Flying “F” here but hey Economic Chaos is coming. Now go back and check your Facebook account…

Bill O’Reilly reports that Economic Chaos is a Comin’ while the rest of us care only about “The Real Housewives of Bumblef**k”.  CNN, MesSNBC, SeeBSNews, National Barack Channel and the All Barack Channel refuse to air this coming Tsunami so they can keep their membership in the Obama Tools Club. But actually everyone knows that Bill O’Reilly is but a shill for the GOP and a tool for the Koch Brothers correct?

Bill O’Reilly Fox News Channel

The folks are indeed responsible for the government they get. Germans could  have thrown Hitler out, they did not. Russians fought hard for Stalin. The  Chinese surrendered to Mao. The Cubans allowed Fidel Castro to take away their  liberty. The folks are responsible.

And now Americans are faced with a citizen challenge not at the levels of  totalitarianism but a very serious economic situation. Yesterday the Government  Accountability Office, the nonpartisan investigative arm of Congress released  its annual audit of the U.S. government. The report covers the fiscal years 2011  and `12. The conclusion of the report is this, quote, “Absent policy changes,  the federal government continues to face an unsustainable fiscal path.”

Let me repeat that, “Absent policy changes, the federal government continues  to face an unsustainable fiscal path.”

If the feds do not stop the wild spending and do not reform Medicare and  Social Security. The U.S. dollar will collapse. That means that all of our  savings. All of our investments, our homes and everything else will blow up  before our eyes.

Now, chances are you will not hear about the GAO’s report today except on  this program. The liberal media will not tell you what is going on. The reason?  President Obama does not, does not want to cut federal spending or reform  entitlements. That is crystal clear. And the media loves President Obama.

So the folks be damned. This is like telling people standing on the beach,  “Hey, a tsunami is coming and if you don’t move you’re going to be killed.” But  the beach folks say “I like it here.” I’m not moving. And then eventually the  wave sweeps them away. That’s exactly what’s happening now.

We’re living in a country that’s polarized. We’re also living in a country  that is becoming addicted to machines, the Internet. We discussed that last  night. Many American citizens, perhaps most, are now too lazy to pay attention  to their country. They are selfish, caught up in individual pursuits. Thus, the  federal government has been allowed by we the people to get out of control.

Last year, the feds spent $1.1 trillion dollars more than the government took  in. That is grossly irresponsible. The debt now approaching $17 trillion dollars  President Obama, the biggest spending chief executive in history.

So I have to play Paul Revere here. I have to continue to tell you the truth.  But I also believe many Americans simply will not listen. And even worse, they  are not smart enough, not smart enough to even care. Disaster could be coming.  That’s “The Memo.”

Why Bill O’Reilly Rocks: Schools Fox News Reporter and Occidental College Professor on Bringing the “Facts” Into the Conversation

Bill O’Reilly did a segment on The O’Reilly Factor Friday 10/28/2011 called “Occupy Wall Street Spontaneous Uprising or Left Wing Conspiracy?  His guests were Fox News Reporter Leslie Marshall and Occidental College Professor Dr. Caroline Heldman.  Bill nailed them to wall when they started talking about things the ladies could not prove.

This is one of the many reasons I admire Bill O’Reilly; he comes loaded with facts and not supposition.  This is why I have all of his books and finally this is why the first thing I listen to in the morning is the “Talking Points Memo”.

Keith Olbermann, CNN and the Cartoon Characters at MessNBC do not even come CLOSE to O’Reilly’s level of Journalistic Integrity.

Here is the transcript:

BILL O’REILLY, FOX NEWS HOST: Now for the “Top Story” tonight, reaction. Joining us from Los Angeles is Dr. Caroline Heldman, who teaches at Occidental College and Fox News contributor Leslie Marshall. So where am I going wrong here, Leslie.

LESLIE MARSHALL, FOX NEWS CONTRIBUTOR: Well first of all Bill, any organization, any movement, any protest is going to be “exploited” to use your term by somebody, whether it be the Koch Brothers of the Tea Party on the right, George Soros with the “Occupy Wall Street” movement on the left.

I would say, Bill, that you’re giving the movement in a sense more power when you’re talking about this — not jut demonizing but anarchy and the real agenda, the real goal. I really believe the real agenda and the real goal and the majority of these people are just that, people that are frustrated with the disparity in wages; are frustrated by the constant reports even this week that the rich are getting richer. They’re frustrated by the current state of their country and their government.

O’REILLY: OK, well you can believe anything you want; you’re an American. But you made a statement that the Koch Brothers were tied into the Tea Party financially. Can you prove that?

MARSHALL: Well, the Koch Brothers, (INAUDIBLE) such as Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin.

O’REILLY: Can you — can you prove it. Wait. Wait, wait, wait, Leslie.

O’REILLY: Leslie, you’re a Fox News contributor. You have a responsibility. Can you prove the Koch Brothers are tied into the Tea Party financially? Can you?

MARSHALL: With a check in hand, no.

O’REILLY: OK. Thank you.

MARSHALL: But the Koch Brothers have never denied the financial trail.

O’REILLY: Your turn is over Leslie. Your turn is over, we’ll get back.

And I want to remind you not to make statements you can’t back up on this network. We don’t do that on this network. Other networks do. We don’t.

Dr. Heldman, am I going wrong here in my analysis?

DR. CAROLINE HELDMAN, PH.D., OCCIDENTAL COLLEGE POLITICS PROFESSOR: Well, I would say that yes, in the sense that it — they — it really is a populist movement. It’s a small — you know it’s a handful of grass roots activists who started this, some of whom are anarchists, some of whom are just concerned Americans.

But it has grown well beyond that. We’re talking a collection of Christians and anarchists and hippies and hipsters and students and grandmothers. More than half of the American public has a favorable rating of “Occupy Wall Street.”

O’REILLY: Not anymore. Not anymore.

O’REILLY: Well, oh Doctor, hold it now, I’m going to stop you. Not anymore. OK. The new polls out are against — this is the Fox News poll, all right? Is the movement good or bad for the country? “Occupy Wall Street”? Good for the country? 38 percent; bad for the country 41; unsure, 21.

Now, that’s directly because of my reporting, Glenn Beck, talk radio – – we’re not hysterical and we’re asking valid questions, Doctor, like what would a grandmother be doing out in the middle of New York City or Oakland or Atlanta or anywhere for three weeks?

You can see it for a day or two, but not for three weeks. Go ahead.

HELDMAN: Because when — when the situation is this dire, and I’m surprised this didn’t happen in 2008, of course people are going to take to the streets. Of course when they have identified crony capitalism as the target.

O’REILLY: OK. Crony capitalism, that’s interesting. Then why aren’t they in Lafayette Park across the street from the White House? Just today —

HELDMAN: I would agree.

O’REILLY: — just today the White House issued a statement, Leslie that said they are now investigating the Solyndra crony capitalism case. And you know why? Because a congressional committee is going to issue subpoenas next week to the White House to show why they wasted half a billion of taxpayer dollars in Solyndra.

So this is far more. This isn’t a spontaneous demonstration against crony capitalism. If it were, they would be in front of the White House. This is organized by the unions backed up by George Soros and the MoveOn people.

The — and I do and I want — I agree with both ladies that there are sincere protesters but they are long gone. They are not there for a month. Go ahead.

HELDMAN: Bill, do you have evidence to back up those links? Do you have evidence?

O’REILLY: Yes absolutely we have reporters down there all the time and the reporters ask people who they are, where they are going. The spontaneous people are back to their jobs; 85 percent of them, Dr. Heldman have jobs. You can’t stay off the job for a month. I can back what I say up.

I’m going to give Leslie the last word because I scolded her earlier. Go ahead, Leslie.

MARSHALL: You scolded me. But one of the Koch Brothers said that he would pay $80 million to any candidate Tea Party or otherwise to unseat Barack Obama.

O’REILLY: Now that’s it, you say anything you — but you can’t make a charge that he’s funding the Tea Party. Tea Party, as far as I know, are independent people all over and they don’t take any money. We know for a fact that the SCIC and MoveOn are pumping money into these organizations.

MARSHALL: All of these organizations are going to take money because all of these organizations need to get money because if they are going to stay out of their jobs, as you mentioned Bill, they have to.

O’REILLY: Leslie, when you find who is giving the Tea Party money you come back on and you show me that, please.

Leslie Marshall is full of crap. OWS started with another SOROS funded group, AdBusters.  Soros who said he wanted to bust the Tea Party but failed with Coffee Party, then No Labels, and then the Agenda Project’s @fcktea campaign. Now this caught on. Soros also gave millions to NPR and HuffPo to counter the conservative movement with their websites. Patch bans anyone not agreeing with the  infiltration of the schools where the UN brainwashes our kids into the Sorosian UNESCO agenda and world government.

The tea party is the only ‘spontaneous’ unfunded group worldwide. WE DO NOT TAKE MONEY.

Michele Bachmann – Bill O’Reilly is right, If President Putz gives in to Deep Spending Cuts, You Have to Raise the Debt Ceiling

Brawl Continues in Washington over Your Well Being

By Bill O’Reilly

If the federal government does not raise the debt ceiling by August 2, there will be an economic catastrophe in America. That’s what President Obama and Treasury Secretary Geithner are saying:

TIMOTHY GEITHNER, TREASURY SECRETARY: There is no credible argument. No responsible leader would say the United States of America for the first time in its history should not pay its bills and meet its obligations. That would be catastrophic for the economy. Everybody understands that.

Well, not quite everybody. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann says she will not vote to raise the debt ceiling, no matter what:

MICHELE BACHMANN GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: I know that we can’t keep spending money that we don’t have. That’s why I fought against the wasteful bailout, against the stimulus. I will not vote to increase the debt ceiling. I’m Michele Bachmann and I approve this message.

Now, Mrs. Bachmann is not alone. There are other Republicans who say they simply will not vote to borrow more money, even if the president and the Democrats approve dramatic spending cuts.

“Talking Points” believes that is not a wise position; that if big spending cuts are agreed upon, the federal debt ceiling should be raised for the good of the nation.

It’s the same thing that happened three years ago when President Bush told the country the economy was about to collapse because the financial industry was going under. Some Americans did not believe that, but all the evidence says it was true, that the feds had to bail out the financial industry, and that’s what happened. Same boat, different year.

You can imagine what the worldwide markets will do if the USA defaults on obligations in August. All of us will suffer economically because foreign investors would begin to pull their money out of America. The dollar would plummet, along with stocks.

So a deal must get done, but President Obama is making a huge mistake in trying to raise taxes now. Why bother with that? Just campaign on your economic position, Mr. President. And if you get re-elected, you can raise taxes later.

On the GOP side, we need tax reform in this country; we need to raise more revenue in smart ways. Perhaps a one percent national sales tax; that could raise close to $100 billion a year without hurting the economy. That money could fund Medicare.

There are ways to get a deal done and make the country stronger. Raising the income tax is not one of them. How about a flat tax?

Summing up, the debt ceiling has to be raised, income taxes have to stay where they are, and government spending has to be cut dramatically. If those things do not happen, we are all in big trouble.

And that’s “The Memo.”

Ms Bachmann of course I am still voting for you.  But please listen to The Talking Points Memo.  Bill has a point, we can’t let the US default.  The Community Organizer in Chief and Timothy Not the Brightest Bulb got us into this.   You and the GOP members need to come to the rescue and get the US out.

And hopefully our 44th President soon will be nothing but a very bad memory and a footnote in Wikipedia…

You Still Rock Lady... KEEP KICKING ASS!!

Please stop blowing Happy Smoke on the Economy Mr. President

Bill O’Reilly

More bad news on Thursday. More than 400,000 Americans filed for first-time unemployment benefits last week, raising the specter of a double-dip recession.

Also, Moody’s and other credit agencies are now actually warning the Obama administration that the nation’s $14 trillion-plus debt is not acceptable. If the president and Congress do not address the situation, America’s credit rating worldwide will be downgraded.

But even in the face of all of this, President Obama continues to talk up government spending:

PRESIDENT OBAMA: We could choose not to make investments in clean energy or let tuition prices rise and force more Americans to give up on the American dream. We could choose to walk away from our community college system. I want to make clear: That’s not our history. That’s not who we are. I don’t accept that future for the United States of America.

“Talking Points” believes the president must stop that stuff right now. If the nation were fiscally solvent, we could invest in speculative energy projects and continue funding folks who don’t have very much. But America is broke, and private industry has lost confidence in the president. That means much private expansion has stopped and new jobs are not being created. There is no question about that.

President Obama must wake up and smell the decay. This is not about re-election. This is about the well-being of most Americans. The economy is going south on Mr. Obama’s watch, and Congress is not going to raise taxes in this environment. It is not going to happen. So in order to stimulate the private marketplace, the president and Congress must make it easier for industry to profit, and put all the social justice stuff on the shelf for awhile.

Every poll says the same thing. Americans believe Mr. Obama has lost control of the economy. Quinnipiac: Voters disapprove of the president’s economic policies 58 to 36. ABC News: 59 percent disapprove of the Obama economic plan, 40 percent approve. Rasmussen: Just 31 percent of likely voters believe the economy will be better a year from now.

Because of that pessimism, folks are not spending as much and banks are not lending. Presto, another recession. Or am I wrong? Let’s stop the nonsense.

From Laura

The United States probably wouldn’t be able to maintain its prized AAA sovereign ratings status if it suffered even a “technical” default on its debt, Fitch Ratings said on Wednesday.

The rating agency also warned it would downgrade the U.S. sovereign ratings to “restricted default” in August if the government fails to honor Treasury notes and some coupon payments on Treasury securities due on August 15.

“Even a so-called ‘technical default’ would suggest a crisis of ‘governance’ from a sovereign credit and rating perspective and though such an event (such as a short-lived Treasury bill default) may not permanently impair the capacity of the U.S. government to service its obligations, it is unlikely that its ‘AAA’ status would be retained in the short to medium term,” Fitch said in a statement.

A “crisis of governance?” Don’t we already have one of those? 3 straight years of $1 trillion deficits, the Senate hasn’t voted for a budget in close to 800 days, and a president who is openly admitting he doesn’t know what is happening with economy all points to a “crisis of governance” that is already raging in Washington.

2012 is all about leadership. It is about finding the person who is going to make the tough decisions and keep America great. Right now there is a leadership vacuum in DC. It is up to us to find the right person to fill that vacuum.

The economy has taken a turn for the worse, but you wouldn’t be able to tell that from President Obama’s actions. Chili dogs and golf outings filled the president’s weekend following the worst jobs report since the fall of 2010. Some of the highlights of this report that have been buried below the headline grabbling 9.1% unemployment rate are the 24% unemployment rate for teenagers, the increase of 361,000 people who have been unemployed for more than 27 weeks, and the downward revision of March and April’s jobs reports by 39,000 jobs.

$14,000,000,000,000 in debt?

9.1% Unemployment?

400,000 first time filers of Unemployment Insurance in one week?

Do you see what is happening Sir?

Sane, rational people are seriously afraid, they feel the US is going straight down the crapper and no one in your administration has any idea what is going on.

Come to my neighborhood, we have 5 households  where the family is either going through unemployment right now or are seriously underemployed.  Five households on a 20 house block.

We have two townhomes that are up for short sale.  That means they will take what can get for the home as soon as possible and to hell with everyone else who wants to sell their place for what they bought it for at least.  My wife and I are seriously thinking about staying in our present home for at least the next five years because we do not see a way to sell the place without taking a hit.  We put $50,000 down on the place 7 years ago – 25% percent down and right now we would have to sell the house for a loss to get out; that is if we could sell it.

And you want to invest in alternative energy solutions – yes how is the Chevy Volt working not many people buying it?  Uh, huh.

Student Loans?  Sorry kids you may have to go to Community College or Trade School.

And please stop watching MessNBC, CNN, and stop reading Daily Kooks as well as the Huffington Post.

Here need a laugh, here is a good one.   According to we aren’t in debt, the government just needs to tax the rich more and redistribute the wealth better.  Here is the link.  My ass fell out my chair it was so funny.

Race, Republicans and the Lamestream Media

From Bill O’Reilly Talking Points 5/16/2011 – Race, Republicans and the Presidential Election:

“Next year, the Republican nominee will not only be competing against President Obama and the Democratic Party but also against the mainstream media, which is going to be even more committed to re-electing Mr. Obama than it was to electing him in the first place. That’s because a loss for Mr. Obama would reflect very poorly on the media. If Americans repudiate the liberal value system that many in the elite media embrace, that would be a personal affront to them. So anyone who dares challenge Mr. Obama is in for a rough ride.”

As for me, I would love to see Olbermann’s head spin and fly off on Election Day next year when the GOP takes the White House back and the Left Wing Reign of Terror is over.
